Project Description:
We are currently going through a modernization effort with a multi-year plan to modernize the platform by strangling a legacy monolithic platform. The project will rely heavily on the cloud and cloud native techniques to provide a scalable, efficient platform for future enhancements.
Position Summary/Job Description:
These roles will contribute by building knowledge of existing capabilities and using that knowledge to help the team build the modern capabilities.
Skills Overview:
What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job?
• GraphQL Client and Server – 2 years
• NodeJS – 2 years
• Unit Testing – 2 years
• Design – 2 years
• Git/GitHub –2 years
What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?
• GitHub Actions
• ReactJS
• NoSQL
Interview Process Overview:
Generally, a singular interview for 30-60 minutes that will cover the stated technologies on the candidates resume. The intent of the interview will not be to ensure that the candidate has knowledge of how we are doing things, but that they have dug deep into the technologies that they have experience with.
• First 5 minutes will describe our area.
• Next 20-50 minutes discussing technology on resume, general technology/algorithms and team skills
• Last 5-10 minutes for candidate questions on the project or whatever else is desired.
