ETL Developer specializing in Logistics and Inventory Management designs data pipelines to extract, cleanse, and transform legacy supply chain data. They ensure accurate migration of critical objects like Material Masters, BOMs, and stock levels into SAP S/4HANA or ECC using tools like BODS, LSMW, or Migration Cockpit.
Key Responsibilities
· Data Extraction: Connect to legacy systems (e.g., Oracle, legacy ERPs) and set up scheduled ETL jobs for routine extraction of source data.
· Data Profiling & Cleansing: Analyze source data quality, handling tasks like standardizing units of measure (UoM), identifying missing data, and resolving duplicate material numbers.
· Transformation & Mapping: Collaborate with SAP MM/IM Functional Consultants to translate business rules and field-level mappings into the target SAP data model (e.g., Material Master MATMAS or Business Partner BUPA).
· Data Loading: Load both master and transactional data into SAP utilizing native tools like the SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, BAPIs, or IDocs.
