Requirement 1:

Location: Palo Alto, CA
Duration: 6+ months

ORACLE TECHNICAL DEVELOPER (INSTALL BASE/ SERVICE CONTRACT)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Applications Developer ‘s responsibilities include:

-Create technical designs from business and functional requirements and develop technical solutions based on those designs

-Develop data extract programs from OM, SC, Install Base, to support Sales Commission calculations and BI reporting

-Prepare technical documentation as part of the VMware SDLC process

-Review testing plans, testing scripts

-Experience with SOX controls/ compliance desirable

-Participate in system-level tests responsible for comparing actual results with expected results

COMPETENCIES

-Must possess strong skills in Oracle 11i development

-Demonstrated track record in the implementation and support of Oracle 11i applications

-Strong technical skills in SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports and Discoverer is a must

-Ability to work in a global cross-functional environment partnering with internal customers to help support and enhance business systems
