Overview:
- AATRIX, a leading provider of tax, compliance, and accounting software solutions, is seeking a skilled Manual/Automation Tester to join our dynamic team.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing methodologies and a strong background in Tax/Compliance/Accounting software.
- We are open to reviewing candidates with automation testing experience, particularly those with a background in the Microsoft stack/environment and Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual testing of tax, compliance, and accounting software applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet established standards.
- Create and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to identify and resolve software defects and issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.
- Perform regression testing, integration testing, and system testing as part of the software development lifecycle.
- Document test results, defects, and testing progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a manual tester in the Tax/Compliance/Accounting software domain.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft stack/environment, including Windows operating systems, SQL Server, and .NET framework.
- Experience working in Agile environments using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus (Selenium, Cucumber, etc.).
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and best practices.
