Overview:

  • AATRIX, a leading provider of tax, compliance, and accounting software solutions, is seeking a skilled Manual/Automation Tester to join our dynamic team.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing methodologies and a strong background in Tax/Compliance/Accounting software.
  • We are open to reviewing candidates with automation testing experience, particularly those with a background in the Microsoft stack/environment and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual testing of tax, compliance, and accounting software applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet established standards.
  • Create and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to identify and resolve software defects and issues.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.
  • Perform regression testing, integration testing, and system testing as part of the software development lifecycle.
  • Document test results, defects, and testing progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a manual tester in the Tax/Compliance/Accounting software domain.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft stack/environment, including Windows operating systems, SQL Server, and .NET framework.
  • Experience working in Agile environments using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus (Selenium, Cucumber, etc.).
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and best practices.
