Backpropagation is the way neural networks learn. It's like the network taking a test, seeing how wrong it was, and then slightly adjusting its internal settings to get a better score next time. This process repeats many times, slowly improving the network's accuracy.
TIP Prompt Optimization for Creativity
Instead of directly asking for creative ideas, try constraining the problem. For example, instead of "Generate marketing slogans," ask "Generate marketing slogans for a sustainable coffee brand targeting Gen Z, using only three words." Constraints often spark more innovative thinking.

Last week we covered the first step in my creation of an AI Agent. I talked about how I manually created an HTML (HyperText Markup Language) by vibe coding (with ChatGPT's help) a python (high-level, general-purpose programming language) coded file in VS Code (Visual Studio). As a learning developer, ChatGPT helped me also create the supporting .json(JavaScript Object Notation) file along with .txt (text), .css(cascading style sheets), and .csv (comman-separated values) files as well. These are supporting files that instruct the computer programs how to build the newsletter. They all work together to build the instructed format. It's important to realize that this path I am using to build this letter is what is referred to as "Low-Code", versus "No-Code" or "Pro-Code". This is essentially working from scratch. "Pro-Code" - writing custom applications from scratch using raw programming languages, "Low-Code" - A hybrid approach that uses visual interfaces (drag-and-drop) to build the core of an application, while allowing developers to write snippets of custom code for complex features, and "No-Code" - A development method that allows non-technical users to build software using strictly visual interfaces, without writing a single line of test. Now that I have a Newsletter that I want to publish with structured sections/content files, I can generate this newsletter manually anytime by executing code through VS Code. In addition, I can edit content, manually, in the various .txt, .csv. and .json supporting files that the .py file accesses for the content. This wasn't necessarily "easy" getting to this point. This took much going back and forth with ChatGPT (and by this time I was using Google Gemini, Perplexity, and a little Claude) to see whose code was better. It involved inputting, editing, deleting, rearranging code and executing it multiple times to make sure that the newsletter was adhering to the format I wanted. It took time, but without the AI chatbots, this would have been impossible for someone on my coding level to have achieved. Truly monumental technology. Finally, I can begin to interact with an AI model in order to at least begin the automation process of creating this newsletter. However, we are at a crossroads here. Stay tuned next time to see what decisions must be made to move forward.
