Position: Java Developer
Location: NJ
Staff supplementation is needed to support the development, test, documentation and deployment of AT&T Labs Research Incubation projects (bringing Research ideas to production); initially the Data Router, but, in the future, other such projects. The individuals should be capable of working in a relatively unstructured software development environment. These individuals should ideally be able to perform multiple, different functional tasks, such as system engineering, design, documentation, coding, unit test, system test, deployment and field support. The individuals will work with a cross-organizational Research team and need excellent communication skills in order to be effective. Prior experience working on small teams developing and/or supporting production software is required. Experience developing in Java, knowledge of HTTP and REST technology are highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the one of the principal areas (test, development, etc.) is required, with preference given to candidates with more experience
