Our client is a leader in the entertainment industry with a
revolutionary technology built to distribute media.
SCOPE OF THE EFFORT
The Quality Assurance Testing team is made up of 12 people covering
end-to-end automated and manual testing. The appropriate engineer will
work with developers, business analysts, and testers to build automated
tests.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
The primary responsibility will be working closely with Test Groups to
understand what tests should be automated and when the automated tests
should be executed in the testing cycle. The position will also entail
building automated test scripts using Silk Test and SilkPerformer for
regression, functional, integration, and system testing.
Required Skills
At least two to four years of experience manual and automated testing
Previous experience with Silk Test, Visual Test, and Silk Performer
Ability to script in the 4Test Language
Programming Background
Experience building automation frameworks or harnesses
Understand and utilize Object-Oriented and Procedural Programming
concepts.
Must have ability to come in and work with little structure within
large project teams
Automated Build tools experience a plus
Defect tracking and metrics
Ability to prepare and deliver presentations, troubleshoot issues with
systems teams and document changes
Fast paced projects with tight deliverables
Working knowledge of database types and structures
Tools: Silk Performer, Silk Test
