Sir I did not get the drawing that you posted on the CAI webpage, I
have seen the drawing and the error, can you please explain?

i did not get how do you get the exponents.

the exponents start from zero. if you look at the pic, step number 1
says that we just place a corresponding exponent for every binary
digit to determine the exponent we are going to place. just make sure
that you start from the very last binary digit.
example your binary digit is 1 0 1, then you have to place your first
exponent zero (0) at the last binary digit of the problem, 1 0 1,
which is 1.

look at the pic again and check if you got my explanation :D
