Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Systems Tester 

Arlington, VA. 

Resource Qualifications: 

Five to ten (5-10) years of relevant Oracle EBS system testing experience 

Oracle Finance related modules include AP, AR, GL 

Oracle HR related modules include Benefits, Time/Labor, Comp Workbench and iRecruitment 

Experience developing test strategy and test approach 

Experience developing test plans, test scenarios and test cases from functional business requirements 

Experience developing test plans, test scenarios and test cases from non-functional requirements 

Experience in configuring test beds, creating test data, and executing data-driven tests 

Experience in writing and executing SQL queries to determine successful database results 

Experience automated test scripts and development of automation frameworks (QTP/Selenium preferred) 

Experience developing systems integration, simulated parallel, and user acceptance test plans and cases 

Experience with Cross-Browser/Platform/Device testing methods 

Experience developing metrics-based test status and deriving expected completion dates 

Experience in communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences 

Experience working in a matrixed project environment 

Experience working closely with developers, DBAs, System Testers and User Acceptance Testers 

Understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) 

Professional Tester Certification (e.g. QAI CAST/CSQA or ASQ SQA/CQE) preferred 

Familiarity/Experience with JIRA preferred 

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access 

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written 

Proactive and Detail oriented under pressure 

Ability to work with minimal supervision 

Role and Responsibilities: 

The Senior System Tester shall review project business and technical requirements; document project test strategy, test plan, test cases, requirements traceability matrix, perform test case execution thru System Acceptance Testing (SAT), support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), perform integration, smoke, regression and Mock testing as well as provide testing support during the troubleshooting and resolution of production issues related to the Project. 

The Senior System Tester will work under the direction of an Oracle EBS Apps Program Manager to ensure the Oracle EBS suite and EBS customizations perform as expected during patching or upgrades prior to business users performing user testing. 

The Senior System Tester must take ownership of projects/tasks/issues and work them through completion
