I am a finance person working in controlling/investment analysis, i
want to change my role and go in auditing , currently there is only a
position available which is IT Auditing , i wanted to know if it is
related to finance ? after this role is it possible to go into finance
career ?
what are the future prospects ?

Many, but not all, IT Audits are in support of financial audits. The goal
is to evaluate the risks presented by the IT Department's operations and any
potential impacts to the financial systems. In that role, the IT Auditors
should be working fairly closely with the financial auditors. That can be a
good entry path to the financial side, if that's your goal.
There are many other security, confidentiality, and compliance audits
performed by IT Auditors. They are less-related to financial processes.

Sorry...you need to make that decision for yourself. Based on the
information you have, what do you think would be most fulfilling? I would
answer that question for yourself and move in that direction.
