The San Francisco ISACA Chapter Proudly Presents:

“Mobile Security - Attacks at Every Layer”

Presented by: Joe Brady, Senior Solutions Architect with Veracode

Session Synopsis:
In this presentation I will define a security stack that can be used
in the analysis of mobile devices in your enterprise. What does the
mobile security stack look like? Where does the REAL risk lie and how
do we begin to quantify that risk level? Understanding what risks can
be addressed is imperative to the appropriate selection of mobile
devices for your environment. A brief history of mobile security,
detailing attacks at every level of the stack, will be discussed in an
effort to formalize where the most common attacks come from, where the
majority of risk is being generated, and if possible, what can be done
to mitigate these issues.

Speaker Information:
Joe Brady is a Senior Solutions Architect at Veracode with over 25
years of experience in software application development and security.
His professional experience includes advising customers on data at
rest encryption solutions at Credant Technology, IT risk and portfolio
management at Prosight (now Oracle), and application software
development as a consultant and software development manager for
various companies. Joe began programming as a physics undergrad and
developed early microprocessor based instrumentation at Cornell, where
he received a Master of Science degree in Applied and Engineering
Physics. He has had an interest in software security since learning
