We (cyberstorm.mu) have organized the Mauritian hub for Google
HashCode where 7 teams took part in Google Hashcode. Training was
delivered at University of Mauritius
Google Hashcode is about stepping in the shoes of a google engineer
and attempt to solve a tough problem (NP hard problems where there is
not exact solution).
In the extended round, 2 Mauritian teams are among the top 1300 teams
in the world.
Tools used are 1) Linux or BSD and 2) Open Source
compilers/interpreters such as python, java, or even C#.
