Video sequences in podcasts

a little video sequene can be seen with a car which drives left with
sound waves moving away from it.
When I try to save the sequence, I only get a gif file with a
(non-moving) picture. But I need all of the sequence for a podcast on
distances in the Unverse. It will be made in the iPad app Explain
Everything.

Does anybody have experience with that?
