Role: Sharepoint Developer

Location: Oakland, CA

Term: 6 month contract

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, implement and maintain technical solutions in Sharepoint 2010 and 2013 platforms, including
• External websites and blogs
• Custom Web Parts and Services
• SQL queries, stored procedures, etc.
• Custom Business Process Management via Sharepoint Workflow
• Trains content owners on technologies required to publish to website and Sharepoint portal site.
• Able to create internal websites using MS ASP.net
• Maintains and develops site collection, site & hierarchy based solutions
• Monitors, improves, and updates the publication and performance of all websites.
• Responsible for the quality and design of websites.
• Work with vendors for implementation, support and troubleshooting of 3^rd-party software solutions
• Create end user technical documentation, knowledgebase articles.
• Analyze new software products to enhance automation and business development.

 

Qualifications:

• 4-7 years experience developing using MS ASP.net and Sharepoint technologies
• Experience with SQL Server 2008-2012 and working knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures.
• Business analysis and business process understanding.
• Proven working knowledge of:

• ASP.net (C# and or VB.net)
• Visual Studio 2010+
• Team Foundation Server
• Sharepoint Central Administration Console
• Windows Server 2008-2012 R2
• Proficient in HTML, ASP, .NET, CSS, JavaScript, XML and other web technologies and standards.
• Sharepoint development, configuration, and administration.
• IIS and web based authentication (Basic, Forms, Claims Based, Windows).
• Attention to detail and strong organizational & communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment, and works well with others outside the team.
• Working knowledge of SSRS in Sharepoint integrated mode.

Knowledge of Adobe Cold Fusion and Sharepoint via Office365 a plus.
