My20 year old wonderkid(he's 18 when I bought him), went a plateu-ish route where he's not developing hugely(very much 3-4% when after playing with 8-9s). When I used the scout app, his CA is 160 ish and pa is 182. What should I do?

I'm pretty new to FM Mobile, but I make sure they are getting mentored by the best option at the club in the same position. Also you could maybe up training intensity and focus training on an attribute you want to improve. Also I give them as much game time as possible, I have found the best gains from giving them as much first team football as possible.

This is my personal recommendation system for your convenience. It's my own assessment of the potential development of the young players listed below. For fairness, my rating reflects the player's average PA in case of range or the max PA in case it's fixed.

Most players have PA of -8 which means they won't always have 150+ in your savegame. There are players with PA of -85, -9, -95 or fixed at 150+ (guaranteed wonderkid potential), and some others with PA fixed slightly below 150 who have impressive quality. There seems to be only one PA -10 player in the FM23 database. There are 6 classes of wonderkids, color-marked for your convenience.

As we don't have access to the pre-game editor until Nov 8th, I've created multiple savegames to filter all players that match the criteria of being or becoming Football Manager 2024 wonderkids. I keep the players attributes unmasked in my saves and holiday a few seasons to check on their development. Then I assess every player based on his best role(s) and give him my personal recommendation rating.

In FIFA Career Mode, wonderkids are so called "hidden gems" who are young and have potential to grow and become a superstar. In FUT, there is no Wonderkids since you cannot develop and grow a player, but FUT Future Stars are players with the same concept as Wonderkids.

Times change; especially in football. No one can stay on top of the world forever, so when it's time for the best-of-the-best to hang up their boots, the next generation need to be ready to take up the mantle.

Our definition of a wonderkid in EAFC 24 is a bright talent, who's 21 or under, with a high starting potential to grow into. By that measure tons of incredible players are no longer wonderkids, like Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland and Vinicius Junior, who are 24 and 22 respectively.

Young talents are the lifeblood of football. No one is more loved by fans than the hometown-hero who came up through the club from the start of their career, so create your own legends with some of the best young players in EAFC 24.

He's tall enough, with no weak areas in his goalkeeping stats to worry about. 74 reflexes is enough to slot him into a wide variety of teams straight from the start of your save and with sky-high starting potential, he's likely to grow quickly.

56 positioning and 58 handling are a worry if you're going to throw him in at the deep end, so be sure to boost his match performance rating with a lot of successful passes and invest in new goalkeeping coaches so that he grows ratings fast.

If you're playing with a stronger team, Lille's number one both in Ligue 1 and the Europa Conference League is Lucas Chevalier, the highest rated young goalkeeper in EAFC 24 (not counting Donnarumma and Kobel, of course).

After grabbing international attention by saving a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty while playing for the Republic of Ireland, Gavin Bazunu made the switch to Southampton and was done no favours playing in an equally inexperienced team that was eventually relegated to the Championship.

Still only 20 but with a huge new overall rating, it feels like Florian Wirtz has been around for a long time, but this could be his mainstream breakout season with Leverkusen challenging in the Bundesliga and Europa League.

A classy Croatian midfielder in the mould of Luka Modric, Martin Baturina is an elite dribbler and passer at just 20 years old, letting him squirm through the midfield and dictate the pace of the game despite his lack of strength.

This archetype of midfielder is much more viable in EAFC 24, where stocky, technical players are much better at keeping hold of the ball, wriggling away from trouble and handing it off to a teammate.

After leaving Birmingham to join an exciting young Sunderland team in the Championship, Jobe Bellingham looks to be cut from a similar cloth to his brother, tall and nimble with the technical ability to fulfil just about any midfield role.

Stamina is usually lacking in a lot of young players, particularly in the CAM position, but Arda Guler is a wonderkid with enough physicality in his locker to actually make an impact on a wide range of decent sides.

Both players are pretty similar, with comparable stats, but Miretti has CAM in his listed positions while Fagioli has CDM. Whatever your vision for either of them however, both are mobile, techincally gifted, and can be moulded into whatever profile you wish thanks to their versatility.

However, as you might have heard, Nicolo Fagioli has been caught up in the same betting scandal as Sandro Tonali. This means he could be taken out of EAFC 24, or still be in your save depending on when you're playing.
