I am facing problem with ir2520. When I am pinging to the printer from any system connected to my office network its respond time is 100ms or more. Due to this print is going very slow or some time its not going to print.

I have a Canon printer that stopped working after a Mavericks install. But, I reinstalled the drivers and it began working again. I had a system crash and after restarting, used Disk Utility to fix permissions and the Canon driver came up as needing repair (and it was an extremely short list). On my other mac, same thing happened, again with the Canon driver. I think Mavericks has a Canon issue.

yes i removed the old drivers.. but still its not working but there is something to cheer up also because after removing and reinstalling driversvwhen i give command to print it shows out of paper in print queue than i checked the Printer it is out of paper. after putting paper in the tray i tried to print but still its not working...

hey may be this will also help you to resove the issue in Mac OS HDD there is incompatible software and Canon UFRII named file is there with the canon printer picture. i deleted it and then trying stil not working....

Also i checked in the library/PPDs/contents/resources i am not able to find canon iR2025 .. is there any way to manually select the software while adding printer.. actually i tried by clicking on other software while adding printer but unable to select the package and also .dmg file.

Can you open System Information (Applications > Utilities) and select Printers in the left column. If you more than one printer, they will be listed in the top right pane. Select the iR2520. Its information will appear in the bottom right pane. If this is the only printer, then after selecting Printers the iR2520 information will appear in the right pane. Can you please select all this information, copy and paste back here for me to check.

Could anyone help me how to add my institute network printer? I have its ip: 172. something.something etc. I can print from my desktop from the printer when I am using windows from the same desktop but I am unable to print when I am using ubuntu. I have read many threads and tried a lot but I am unable to connect and print. I have downloaded in home whatever here is said but I dont know how to install -and-canon-imagerunner-2520.html
