- Part Four: Writing, Listening and Speaking. This part contains 10 units that aim to improve the writing, listening and speaking skills of the learners. Each unit consists of a writing task, a listening task, a speaking task and a self-evaluation checklist.
The book is suitable for intermediate to advanced level learners who want to prepare for English proficiency examinations such as LYS, IELTS, TOEFL and YDS. The book can be used as a self-study material or as a supplementary material in classroom settings.
About the Author
Cesur Öztürk was born in 1954 in Ankara, Turkey. He graduated from Hacettepe University in 1976 with a degree in English Language Teaching. He then obtained his master's degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh in 1980 and his PhD degree in English Language Teaching from Hacettepe University in 1986.
He has been working as a professor of English at Hacettepe University since 1993. He has also taught English at various institutions such as Middle East Technical University, Bilkent University, Ankara University and Gazi University. He has also been involved in several national and international projects on English language teaching and testing.
He has published more than 50 books and articles on various aspects of English language teaching and learning. Some of his most popular books are:
