Eversince the 1.18 changes to the landscape, Minecraft has pushed my screenshot photojournalism to new heights. The dizzying array of options is even deeper now that Minecraft 1.21 is here, along with additions like the armadillo and Breeze, new varieties of copper and tuff blocks, a crafter redstone block, and even the new trial chambers.
Simply put, Minecraft seeds are a string of numbers that dictate an exact Minecraft world for you to load into. Before creating a new world, you can punch these numbers in to conjure up the particular place you want to explore, and creators share these codes online. You'll find a field to enter your chosen seed in the "More World Options" menu when creating a new world. Using a seed will get you exactly the same world generation as someone else who's used it.
With the newly named "Trails and Tales" update here, come the latest seeds to share around and check out new challenges and new mobs across the Minecraft landscape. You can download Minecraft 1.21 now, and once you have, check out some of the new seeds already here for investigation.
Looking to sate your curiosity on the brand new trial chambers? It's a bit of a hike, but this trial chamber also comes with both a zombie and spider dungeon stapled to the side of it, ready for your looting pleasure.
How much of a rush are you to check out the new trial chambers? Before you've even punched your first tree you can be touring the inside of one with this seed. Spawning you down in a ravine, you're just a few steps and a couple broken blocks from being inside one that's underneath your feet.
A pair of gigantic vertical islands dominate the spawn area of this seed, one a small badlands topped with trees, and the other a larger jungle island. The jungle island comes packed with everything: a ruined nether portal, a lagoon, a jungle temple, and a massive lush cave opening. They're even surrounded by a sea filled with coral reefs. Best of all, it even works on Bedrock and Java edition, so you can check out this goldmine of views any way you'd like.
If you want to explore one of the new ancient cities down in the deep dark ASAP, this seed will get you there. You'll spawn next to two open caves close to the surface, with a secret below. Way beneath your feet will be an ancient city waiting to be found. If you don't want to do the digging yourself, teleport to the coordinates 194 -44 -7 to get right to the center.
If you're a lover of remote survival island seeds, this is a great one to plant your flag in. You're truly alone out here at the center of this frozen ocean with only icebergs to see for hundreds of blocks around you. A small taiga forest is yours to survive in.
Though its a bit of a walk to the coordinates out at -500 164 -430, this picturesque plateau is the perfect way to take in the scent of the new biome. With a handy village butting up against it, you'll be able to make some new friends to trade with as you construct your dream house.
For a frosty start, this tundra village is almost entirely surrounded by ice spikes. It's a beautiful spot to build in or just move in to join the locals. Outside the ice spike ring is a nearby Pillager outpost, which as of version 1.19 has two captive Allays for you to rescue and befriend.
Spawning right next to a massive ridgeline, you can explore up and down both sides to see that the village covers both sides, including a lonely church on the far side, all the way down at sea level. The ridge itself is dotted with a dozen exposed cave entrances, and really flexes the mountainous terrain introduced in 1.18.

From your first steps at spawn you'll have a commanding view of the ocean, and the assistance of friendly villagers on this four-biome island seed. The view from your terracotta peaks is great, but you've also got access to wood from the savannah and plains biomes, and sandstone from the desert. For anything else, there's also ample cave access to mine your way down into the undersea riches.
The new cherry blossom forest is begging for the perfect build to complement it, and this is the best one we've seen so far. The perfect canvas to paint a peaceful ranch for the new Minecraft sniffer to root up seeds, or for you to build up your very own supervillain base, this seed is the very best of the new biome and isn't even very far from spawn at -812, 156, 1376.
Have you ever wanted your stunning lush cave to have a skylight? What about like, nothing but skylights? If so, this seed has your back, with a massive exposed lush cave, with a bonus mineshaft poking out into it. Though it's a bit of a hike out at -5900, 100, -5100 it's well worth the trip, especially since it's right in the middle of a giant dark forest you can plunder for building.
Valleys make one of the coolest locations for your future builds, letting you nestle a hidden fortress or idyllic cabin away and give it a legendary view. Likewise, a mountain can elevate (literally) your latest piece of blockitecture to new heights (also literally). But what if we combined them into a nesting doll of legendary scenery? We can achieve a new level of villain lair or cozy lodge with this delightful mountain-in-a-valley-ringed-by-other-mountains.
Stunning vistas are just the tip of the cherry-berg with 1.20, and this gorgeous lake valley is the perfect example. Though it's a bit of a walk out at 12037, 109, 1383, it's worth the trip for the perfect hidden village or lakeside resort of your dreams. Don't forget to put in an idyllic post office, so you can send screenshot-postcards to all your friends.
Rising way into the sky above the ocean near spawn, this mountainous island is ready for you to plant your very own flag in it. With multiple biomes on its slopes, you have a variety of trees available to build with and plenty of snow up top. In fact, if you can make it to the top, the view is excellent from the staggering 255-height peak. Just be careful not to slip while you're planning your ski lodge's placement.

Interesting enough in its own right, this rocky island in a frozen sea has a green secret: a massive exposed lush cave network. Whether you want to turn the inside into your very own garden, or just pop a few picturesque houses in and glass the walls, this is a truly unique corner of the Minecraft world to play in.
Never has a single location been in more dire need of a dark floating castle. Where once a quirk of world generation had placed a sinkhole, there's now just a lush taiga and dark forest ringing a vast lake with an obsidian bottom. If you like worlds that look straight out of a nature documentary, this is just for you.
No need to explore for hours to find one of the mangrove swamps that joined in the Wild Update. This seed spawns you in a village that's surrounded by one in a small plains clearing. The screenshot above is actually from a village about 100 blocks east of spawn that has mangrove trees encroaching on its watery dock paths. Both are great places to settle down while you hunt for some new pet frogs.
Spawning into this badlands biome isn't like any other, but instead will see you finding all kinds of strange and unique variances. From a cascading stone waterfall on a mountainside to the massive toothy cave entrance that leads right to the deep dark, there's no shortage of powerful sights to see.
Flipping the typical on its head, this seed spawns you into a thick ring of jungle surrounding a donut of desert and river. It's such an unusual and unique mashup of biomes that would make a perfect base, or evil villains lair. As a bonus, there's even a rare jungle temple on the edge of the ring.

A truly stunning island, this is an amazing start to a survival journey with its massive caves, abandoned mineshaft network, warm oceans, and the rare terracottas available at surface level. Even a dirt shack will look like a palace on these cliffs, but you'll have to travel to find yourself trees.
After years of trying to find it, a group of determined Redditors finally found the Minecraft seed that will take you to the title screen's location. It's a historic moment in Minecraft's history and if you've always wanted to actually explore the blurry landscape behind the game's iconic text, now you can.
Now that Mojang have unified all the non-Java versions together as the Bedrock version, these Minecraft seeds will all work on your Pocket Edition Minecraft, Windows 10 version, and console versions as well.
Building a gorgeous garden paradise has never been easier, or more remote. With this world, Bedrock players can build on, around, and inside this pre-hollowed island, which is already stocked to the brim with a lush landscape. You'll be set up for a view of the surrounding ocean with any constructions up top, and the opportunity for any number of ethereal builds on the interior cave, as long as you don't mind diving into the sea and sailing to meet your neighbors.
While you will have to travel a bit, it's well worth it for this Bedrock seed. When you arrive, you'll find an incredible snowy mountain to scale, with a village spread all over its many crags. Whether you want to build a snowy castle to rival the best the real life Alps have to offer or just chill with your new villager pals and enjoy the view through the hole in the mountain, this seed is a winner.
