BCB 568 Homework Question

For Question 1a: reproducing the numbers from the notes.  

Is anyone else getting numbers that are inconsistent with the numbers in table of World 3?

example:

Left column 2nd row: I get 0.0694 instead of 0.054

Right column 1st row: I get 0.00868 instead of 0.069

Right column 2rd row: I get 0.01736 instead of 0.060

Hi,
       I think some of you already discussed about the 1(a) World I1, but I got some values different from the ones in the pdf.

Can anyone confirm if these are the values you got for world I1?

Yeah, the pdf numbers are a little off.  Your numbers are right except P(S1|F1, I1)=0.163.  Ruolin mentioned the fact that we're accidentally double counting "ATG" in the first Sequence.  (Her calculations of the fraction 1230/7560 is correct.)

I'm not sure how much help I'd be.  So far, I've only done question 1 and most of question 2.  I know Jie and Kejue were planning on going to ask the TA about question 4 at some point today.  If you'd still be interested in talking over the questions, do you mind if we just talked over Skype? (do you have Skype?)  I'm trying to avoid leaving the apartment today.
