STANDARD METHOD OF MEASURING BUILDING WORK FOR AFRICA 2015 (FIRST EDITION) AND MODEL BILLS OF QUANTITIES (ABBREVIATED DESCRIPTIONS)
You are informed that the new Standard Method of Measuring Building Work for Africa 2015 (first edition) and separately the new Model Bills of Quantities (abbreviated descriptions) (in Excel) have now been released on the AAQS website under “Model Documentation” for downloading free of charge. Hard copy is available from the AAQS offices in Midrand at South African Rand 230.00
AAQS Institution Members are kindly requested to notify the members of their institutions/associations/organisations that the abovementioned documents are now available
AAQS Practice Members in South Africa are to note that the standard method published by the Association of South African Quantity Surveyors carries the title Standard System of Measuring Building Work (seventh edition). The text of this document is the same as the text of the AAQS document
