Hope all is well with you. As discussed when we spoke on phone, below is the schedule of Hydraform workshops I would like to interest members of the institution to attend. I believe it will be beneficial to refresh their knowledge of the Hydraform technology for future building projects. After these workshops are done, we will discuss plans for further workshops tailored to your members needs related to the technology.
Hydraform is excited to introduce the first of many workshops to be hosted in country. Starting in April Hydraform will be hosting these workshops in Kampala, Uganda. Below is a list with the topics and dates of the workshops. Be sure to make use of this excellent opportunity to investigate the technology and update your already acquired knowledge with regards to Hydraform Technology, the application thereof and the opportunities it offers.
Hydraform prides itself in having a unique and exciting building system and in order to ensure that it is implemented correctly we provide training to facilitate the process. Hydraform Training Academy provides the theoretical base with the practical application.
1. Hydraform Technology Introduction – 1 Day
25 April 2016, Venue to be advised, @ $60.00
The content of this 1 day seminar drills down into the Hydraform System, the application in construction and general concerns with regards to technology, production, application and comparisons to conventional construction methods. The seminar is a discovery into the system, value and benefits of the system as well as a forum to highlight concerns and test the validity of the system. It is loaded with relevant content and delivered as a tool to familiarise attendants with the Hydraform System.
2. Hydraform Quality Management Workshop – 2 Days
26 – 27 April 2016, Venue to be advised, @ $120.00
This short course will cover the critical aspects into the Hydraform System in a short 2 day seminar. Learn to identify problems at any point in the process from machine operation to block production and construction. The programme will equip you to intervene, make suggestions and apply corrective measures to ensure consistent high quality production and construction.
3. Block Production Workshop – 2 days
28-29 April 2016, Venue to be advised, @ $120.00
This short course addresses the manufacture of high quality compressed earth blocks by understanding the materials, process of block making and mix designs. Join us for this exciting 2 day theoretical program with visual and physical examples to: Produce consistent high quality interlocking blocks, identify & rectify block quality problems immediately, save time by identifying the correct materials, deliver high quality construction solutions.
4. Hands-on Blockyard Setup and Management Workshop – 5 Days
18 -22 April 2016, Venue to be advised, @ $250.00
This hands-on programme handles all the aspects of planning, setting up and running a blockyard. It is an interactive and informative 5 day workshop. On completion of the programme you will have knowledge of the “business” of a blockyard and requirements for running it successfully. The approach is interactive and in the form of an open forum workshop. We focus on the transfer of essential knowledge and the development of skills to ensure high standards in planning, setting up and the management of a blockyard.
Please note that course number 4 is a full Hydraform course and lasts for 5 days. Make sure you are familiar with the dates of this course.
