using Nginx and Gunicorn

Hi,

Due to resources limits of the existing server, I would like to use Nginx and Gunicorn/uwsgi instead of the combination of Apache and mod-python.

1. Is this possible ?

2. which is more recommended, Gunicorn or uwsgi ?
