MOBILE NUMBER PORTABILITY (MNP)

*From 20 January 2011
*Porting Charge: 19 INR(19 rs)
*Porting time: 7 working days
15 working days for Jammu & Kashmir,Assam,
North-East service areas.
*On network change,the network unavailable time not to exceed 2hrs & must be in night as instructed by TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of INDIA)

INSTRUCTIONS

*Contact required service provider
*Get Customer Aquistion Form & CAF porting form
*TO get poring code,SMS ”PORT<space><10 digit mobile number>” to 1900 from your mobile number to be ported.
*Fill CAF form and Porting form and approach required service provider with documents ( Photo,ID proof)
*IF post paid customer,also submit the copy of last paid bill.
*Get new SIM from the new service provider,without change in our mobile number.

Porting Number Activation
*The New service provider will inform you the Porting date,time
*After the activation time,replace the old sim with new one.

Conditions
*Next porting only after 90 days only.
*Porting can be cancelled within 24 hrs after applying
*Service provider must be changed within a service area only.
*Last bill must be paid by the postpaid customers.
*For prepaid customers,the talktime will be lost.
