23 September 2015   Dear Member,    On the sudden demise of Mr. PVR Murthy, Advisor to NHRD Chennai, we invite you with a deep sense of loss to a condolence meeting organized by his family at Radisson Blu Hotel, Egmore, Chennai on 26th September, 2015 at 3:30 PM. Dr. PVR was the Director of Exclusive Search Recruitment Consultants. He has over three decades of experience in HR with companies like Galxo Smith Kline Beecham and the TVS Group. He was the advisor and steering member of NHRD Chennai constantly guiding and mentoring the members and office bearers. His contributions are both in terms of intellectual capital and continuous rejuvenation of the Chennai network. He was the past National Secretary of NHRD Network. He was also the editor of semi academic theme based quarterly journal of NHRD. He instituted the NHRD journal and made it a jewel of NHRD by publishing almost 30 issues of the journal. Dr. PVR is undoubtedly a silent Institution Builder and one of those few HR leaders who believed in HR Research. We remember Dr. PVR’s effort and contribution to NHRD and to the development of HR fraternity and will remain to admire his untiring attitude and determination with which he continued to make a mark in the journey as a HR professional until he left us with his untimely departure, a loss we will never be able to repair in years to come.
