Dear Madhu Pandit Prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP!

IMHO, one reason why this misquoting of Srila Prabhupada is so dangerous is that certain self-motivated rascals are trying to make themselves appear more like "gurus like Prabhupada" by trying to bring Prabhupada down to their own level of arrogance!

How can we understand how crazy these people are? Maybe this will help:

Srila Prabhupada, in 1977, had a difficult juggling act to perform. He had to fool the "I wanna be a guru like Prabhupada" madmen into thinking that they could get away with it so that they would continue to perform their highly conditional devotional service for just a little while longer, while, at the same time, making it perfectly clear, to anyone who is sane, that there is only one initiating guru allowed within ISKCON: Srila Prabhupada himself!

Today's ISKCON is about what one might expect from an organization run by college dropouts who are former users/abusers of LSD and other mind-altering drugs, and who have lost most of their good qualities due to offenses against their godsiblings, against the 2nd generation, and against their own guru! The LSD, etc. that they used/abused has caused them to suffer permanent brain damage. This brain damage is currently being manifested as an abnormal lack of humility, abnormal paranoia, abnormal enviousness, delusions of grandeur, and an abnormal tendency to be control freaks.

Therefore, LSD was a double-edged sword. It made Srila Prabhupada's early followers detached enough to move into an ISKCON temple, shave their heads, and dance/chant in the streets, but it also made them a little crazy.

Therefore, they purposely concoct bogus "Prabhupada said" quotes such as, "Your love for me will be shown..." or "My books will be the law-books..." or "After me, there will be no more acarya" or "Only Lord Chaitanya can take my place."

No. Srila Prabhupada is humble. IMHO, he would never, ever say such arrogant things!

Nothing even close to any of these arrogant quotes are in the VedaBase. They all mysteriously appeared years, if not decades, after Prabhupada's glorious disappearance! For example, if you search the VedaBase, you will see that "Your love for me..." is something that only Krishna says. A pure devotee would never say such an arrogant thing!

IMHO, these bogus "Prabhupada said" quotes are a symptom of Mayavadi nonsense creeping into ISKCON once again. (The first time was 1970, when Srila Prabhupada kicked 4 sannyasis out of ISKCON because of their Mayavadi contamination!)

This is very, very serious!

Your servant, Pratyatosa Dasa

Dear Pratyatosa Prabhu, please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

What you have said and [your] analyses is very, very true. Srila Prabhupada would never say such things. Thank you.

Your servant,
Madhu Pandit Dasa
