As Theo Faron (Clive Owen) and Kee (Clare-Hope Ashitey) walk slowly down the stairs, someone may be seen apparently chanting the Hare Krishna Mantra on beads (on the right). Then, at the bottom of the stairs, someone may be heard actually chanting Hare Krishna. (But the chanting is very difficult to make out due to the background music and noise.)

“Movieclips” is a collection of memorable moments from all mainstream movies, while HKITM is about one category of movies.

There's been a dramatic increase in my "Hare Krishna in the Movies" YouTube channel viewership lately, especially among Russians. What are they watching? Mostly the "Krishna Cop" clip (<https://youtu.be/zHH8EvLmsWg>).

Above are the statistics for the peak day, but the next day, August 18th, was almost as big.

In 1967, the Hare Krishna devotees, including the movement's founder, His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, were featured in a documentary entitled "The Maze: Haight Ashbury" on San Francisco's CBS TV station KPIX (channel 5). The documentary is about the local 1967 Haight Ashbury hippie scene. It's written by Michael McClure, narrated by Rod Sherry, and the voice of Howard Wheeler (Hayagriva Dasa) may be heard at the very beginning of the clip. Howard may also be seen later in the clip: the man on the right with the big, black beard.

If you set the resolution low, say 360p, then they will not take very much bandwidth, especially considering that they are only a few seconds long.
