Dear Prabhus, Hare Krishna! Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
The Asus U20A-B1 laptop is the best deal around. I got one, and it's a masterpiece of engineering! I'm using it right now to send this email. Even though the LED back-lit display is very bright and the back-lit keyboard is on maximum brightness, the computer is only using 18 watts!
By the way, the display can be made much, much brighter for use in direct sunlight.
To buy one yourself, you could go directly to:

...to purchase it, but if you follow my instructions from the first email that I sent (See below), then you get $7.50 cash back. Please note that the price went up slightly, so now the deal is:
$749.99 - $100.00 mail-in rebate - $7.50 cash back from http://www.ebates.com/ = $642.49 (Free shipping and no sales tax outside of California!).
It comes with Windows Vista Premium, and it includes a free upgrade to Windows 7 Premium, but why learn a new operating system? Simply install Windows XP! The latest, greatest version of Windows XP Professional was made available as a free download just 3 days ago! No CD key, no computer name, no user name, no language, and no time zone to enter. The only time that the installation pauses is a few seconds after it starts so you can enter, "I agree!" Other than that, the whole thing installs non-stop, and it installs lots of very useful extra software!
