Dec 18, UK (SUN) — Uddhava das Prabhu in his article, "A Further Historical Point", has made a very relevant point:

“The controversy is: on what authority was this system disbanded, and the 11 ritviks transformed into diksha gurus? “

1) They had no authority from Srila Prabhupada to disband the Ritvik System. They were never Diksa Gurus to start with - they just PRETENDED to be Diksa Gurus to dupe others - FREE servants, money, travel and power craze and -- for some, sex life behind the closed doors.

2) When the 11 could not hide their conditioned soul faults there was a rebellion among certain Godbrothers who forced them for a share of Chappati and Dal business. They also wanted to play at being imitator Uttama-adhikari and so the bogus MULTIPLE ACARYA system was formed - so now there are 80+ for footbaths and bogus Vyasapuja

Srila Prabhupada was consistent about this: ”A guru can become guru when he's ordered by his guru. That's all. Otherwise nobody can become guru.” There was no compromise.

Srila Prabhupada Lecture on Bhagavad-gita, Nairobi, October 28, 1975:


Brahmananda: He's asking when did you become the spiritual leader of Krsna consciousness?
Srila Prabhupada: When my Guru Maharaja ordered me. This is the guru-parampara.
Indian: Did it...
Srila Prabhupada: Try to understand. Don't go very speedily. A guru can become guru when he's ordered by his guru. That's all. Otherwise nobody can become guru.
Indian woman 2: (Hindi)
Srila Prabhupada: (Hindi) Sadhi mam prapannam. "I am surrendered to You. Whatever You say, I shall carry out." That's all.
Indian man: When did he tell you to...?
Srila Prabhupada: What is the business, when did he tell me? And why shall I disclose to you? It is so very insignificant thing that I have to explain to you?
Indian man: No, I am just curious when...
Prabhupada: You should be curious within your limit. You should know that one can become guru when he is ordered by his guru, this much.




Srila Prabhupada Room Conversation, Bombay, April 22, 1977:
Srilla Prabhupada: What is the use of producing some rascal guru?
devotee: Well, I have studied myself and all of your disciples, and it's clear fact that we are all conditioned souls, so we cannot be guru. Maybe one day it may be possible...
Srila Prabhupada: Hm.
Devotee: ...but not now.
Srila Prabhupada: Yes. I shall choose some guru. I shall SAY, "Now you become ACARYA. You become authorized." I am waiting for that. You become all acarya. I retire completely. But the training must be complete.

Guru MUST be on Uttama Adhikari stage. But aside from that he needs an ORDER from his Guru to be ACARYA.

Srila Prabhupada Conversation, May 28, 1977, Vrindavan:
Srila Prabhupada: "When I order, "You become guru," he becomes regular guru. That's all. He becomes disciple of my disciple. That's it."

Note: “When I order” -- NO ORDER WAS GIVEN on the contrary the ONLY instruction that followed TWO months AFTER was as per 9th July 1977, that they were to act in the capacity of Ritvik Representative of Acarya and the disciples initiated would be Srila Prabhupada’s, NOT theirs.

Srila Prabhupada Lecture on Bhagavad-gita, October 28, 1975, Nairobi:

Note: As we can clearly see from Tamal Krishna’s earlier comment in April 1977, “Well, I have studied myself and all of your disciples, and it's clear fact that we are all conditioned souls, so we cannot be guru. ” BUT just AFTER 7 months in NOVEMBER, the departure of Srila Prabhupada, he was deceitful, he CHEATED, thus began the Guru HOAX in ISKCON. He proclaimed the 11 were now to be ACCEPTED as “successor gurus”, “Uttama Adhikaris” and anyone who thought otherwise would bring “one dangerously near the precipice of spiritual calamity.” Threats were common to those who opposed them.

He was the chief mastermind to disobey and dismantle July 9th 1977 order from Srila Prabhupada to the society to initiate on Srila Prabhupada’s behalf. Satsvarupa was Tamal Krsna’s accomplice.

Ritvik Acarya gives Formality of Initiation. And as I have explained, Diksa offered to Madhyama is NOT formality see "Diksa Given to Madhyama-adhikari is Not a Formality".

How could they give Diksa to ANYONE!!! They were deceitful and consequently NOT even on Kanistha adhikari (QUALIFIED) BRAHMANA stage. Truthfulness is the quality of a Brahmana. Besides, Madhyama Adhikari is the RECIPIENT of Diksa.

Tamal Krsna and company went on to imitate Uttama Adhikari PRETENDING to give Diksa. Tamal Krishna “Goswami threatens in his “Servant of the Servant", 1984 Printing, Part Two, Chapter 11 - Le Sankirtana Parisien:

P361 -- “Though they leveled their remarks against the successor gurus, in reality their criticism was aimed at Srila Prabhupada himself.”


P363 -- Referring to Srila Prabhupada: “Thus he considered them to be Uttama-adhikari, highly advanced devotees worthy to be accepted as spiritual masters.”[..]


“Critics may doubt whether our ISKCON acaryas are actually liberated. Do they know their rasa (liberated relationship) with Krsna, and will they be able to instruct their disciples similarly? But such questions bring one dangerously near precipice of spiritual calamity.”


P365 "Ultimately, however the greatest proof of bonafidity of Srila Prabhupada’s successor acaryas is their disciples."
