I don't think you have originated that theory. I have felt since reading The Krishna Book's introduction, that The Beatles were demigods... but isn't that a widely common appreciation? Or did I consider them demigods, when my older sister got Beatlemania in 1963? Conversely, the Rolling Stones creeped me out, so I have always seen them as, well, from Hell. I do know, the George Harrison's music was often there, for me, to lift me up towards Krishna Consciousness, whenever I needed it most. Thanks!

Yeah. You're probably right. I'm probably not the first one to come up with the fairly obvious idea of such a possibility.

BTW, the Rolling Stones couldn't figure out how to write a hit song until John Lennon and Paul McCartney wrote one right before their eyes and gave them permission to use it first! (See: <http://ultimateclassicrock.com/beatles-write-for-rolling-stones/>.)

Hi Pratyatosa - I read the Istagosthi posts about whether the Beatles were demigods sent to earth to make ISKCON successful.

I believe all real musicians are demigods. However, if the Beatles came here to make ISKCON successful, they also came to help TM. Most TM people believe that.

As I remember it, the Beatles’ message was love, and they came here when our country was still grieving the loss of JFK. 

The reason the Beatles became involved with ISKCON was thanks to hard work and smarts of the three couples who pioneered ISKCON in England (MukundaG, Symasundar, Gurdas, and their wives).

Good things happen because people make them happen. Inspiration comes from god.

Often bad things happen because we didn’t learn the first time.

By the way, congratulations. It’s great you’re still adding movie clips to the collection! ISKCON was a cultural phenomenon, especially back in the day.

Dear Mother Nori Prabhu, thank you. Every time I think that there probably won't be any more videos to add to my Hare Krishna in the Movies YouTube channel, another one pops up out of nowhere!

I hadn't really thought about it before, but you are probably right about TM's and JFK's relationship to the Beatle's incredible talent/success/popularity.

It was just 2 days ago that I finished reading the part of Miracle on 2nd Avenue by Mukunda Goswami wherein he tells about how he, Syamasundara, and Gurudas, using their intelligence and Lord Sri Krishna's mercy, were able to arrange to meet George Harrison and the rest of the Beatles. (It's part of VedaBase 2015.1.) I'm sure that their beautiful, talented, Krishna conscious wives also had a lot to do with their amazing success in attracting the Beatles to Krishna consciousness. A fascinating story indeed! They were definitely guided by Supersoul and so was George.

Also, thank you very much for your wonderful service of helping to attract the Beatles to serving Srila Prabhupada. I will be forever grateful. Both my wife and I where greatly influenced by thinking, "If George Harrison is into it, it must be cool!" :-)
