Bronze flashed in the sky above Ista as L'kye and Taomith broke from
*between* wildly, spinning into a downward spiral over the sea as the
small bronze bugled his appearance. The boy was clutching the straps
between his wings as tightly as his gloved hands could manage,
laughing as the wind streamed through the pale hair, sending it
flapping behind him as he leaned forward, trying to make himself as
aerodynamic as possible. Shedding his jacket, he threw it off and
watched it flutter down into the water as he screamed out a
greeting.
((HELLO, ISTA!))
"WE'RE HERE!"
And then communal laughter as the bright bronze dragon slammed
downward, wings folded close to his body, leaning just a little so his
rider could stand and sidle up his neck. They could see a figure
below on the beach, and that of course called for some version of
showing off, now, didn't it? So as they plunged downward, L'kye
suddenly leapt free of Taomith's back, his slender body arching
perfectly in a dive before cutting into the Istan sea with a natural,
lithe grace. This was only mimicked by his dragon as Taomith banked
sharply left and plunged down into the water, creating a great splash
that sent L'kye tumbling onto the beach from the force of the wave,
coming up sitting and covered in sand and seawater.
Glancing around for the figure, he stood up and set his hands on his
hips, ready to open his mouth when a second wave caught him in the
back and sent him staggering forward, fumblingly dropping into the
water in peals of laughter as Taomith bound up to the beach, shaking
free of the salty damp and spraying L'kye all over again.
