FOIL October 21st Book Sale Results

Hi Friends of the Issaquah Library,

We have a terrific fall book sale yesterday, and the results are in.  We raised just over $4,000 for Issaquah library programs in our last sale of the year. 

 

Foot traffic was heavy throughout the day. The Issaquah Goes Apples harvest fair on Front Street also brought in shoppers. We could tell because of the gorgeous bouquets of flowers they were carrying.

 

A huge thank you to all of the volunteers who came to set up tables, move heavy boxes around the room, sort thousands of books into categories, cheerfully greet throngs of shoppers, ring up sales, help people get heavy boxes to their cars, and keep the sale tables looking good all day long. And the clean up crew was spectacular – we finished in a record 35 minutes. We cannot thank you enough, and we simply couldn’t do this without you. You make this event fun!
