Issaquah Library Book Sale Volunteers Needed - October 19-21

The Friends of the Issaquah Library Book Sale is Saturday, October 21st, and we need volunteers to help with the sale.

Setup is on Thursday & Friday, Oct. 19^th & 20^th from 10AM-2PM

Sale is 11AM –6PM on Saturday

Cleanup is Saturday from 6 – 7PM

We welcome new and old volunteers to come set up, sort, sell and clean up with us. Our volunteers make this Issaquah fund-raising event fun and profitable for the Friends. With the proceeds, we fund Issaquah Library programs.

Please look at the volunteer assignments below and email me at lpw9...@comcast.net with your availability. I will confirm your assignment by email.

 

Thursday, October 19, 10AM – 2PM

• Set-Up, Heavy Lifting, 10-11AM – 6 volunteers
• Book Sorting, 11AM - 2PM – 10 people to sort books by category
• Note: volunteers may do limited book shopping while sorting; light snacks provided

 

Friday, October 20, 10AM – 2PM

• Book Sorting, 10AM – 2PM – 10 people to sort books by category
• Note: volunteers may do limited book shopping while sorting; light snacks provided

Saturday, October 21, 11AM – 7PM

• Public Book Sale, 11AM - 6PM – cashiers & book wranglers

• 11 AM – 1PM – 4 volunteers
• 1 PM – 3:30PM – 4 volunteers
• 3:30 PM – 6 PM – 4 volunteers

• Clean Up, 6 - 7PM box up remains of the day – 10 volunteers

Wanted: lots more volunteers needed for the book sale!  Please volunteer for the sale. We need many more volunteers for the sale, and it is in a week and a half.

Hi Friends,

We can still use a few more volunteers on Thursday and Friday from 10am to 2pm for book sale setup.  On Saturday, we need 1-2 more volunteers from 11-6 to work during the sale. 

 

Cleanup is a magic trick that happens between 6-7pm where we make everything disappear, so drop in and lend a hand.

 

Please let me know if you can help.

 

Also, let your friends know about the sale. We had a problem with getting sale flyers out this time, so help us get the word out about the book sale on Saturday from 11-6.  Most books are still a rare bargain at $2.
