The shortcut I used to use to download videos on X/Twitter is no longer working. I know Elon changed some rules for the API. Is there a shortcut that currently works with the new version of X/Twitter.
It's been a long time since I posted an update for my shortcut which arguably is the most reliable and popular Twitter Downloaders out there. I thank you all for your support and for using my shortcut.
With this convenient shortcut, you can effortlessly download Twitter videos right from the Twitter app itself. No more searching around the internet for third-party downloaders or fiddling with complicated settings.
Once installed, the shortcut adds a download button to all Twitter videos, enabling you to quickly and easily save them to your device with just a tap. With Twitter Vid, downloading your favorite Twitter videos has never been easier!
If you are using Twitter on the desktop, then it may be helpful to know that there are over 25 different keyboard shortcuts that you can use to perform various functions including creating new tweets, opening the Messages section, and opening Notifications.
For example, below are the keyboard shortcuts for the new user interface. It should be noted that any shortcuts that have two keys and a plus in between them, means that you press those keys in sequential order, not at the same time.
The old user interface also has a Keyboard shortcuts overlay that can be opened by pressing the ? key. While most of these shortcuts are the same as the new interface, there are some differences.
this is a really great thing to watch this keyboard shortcuts you are explaining well .tHe concepts are so proper. And also the twitter hotkeys are really important if you are using a twitter account. By the hotkeys, you do many things as quick as possible.
I hope this saves you some time and makes Twitter chats a lot more enjoyable. How do you user text replacement shortcuts? What shortcuts do you have on your phone. Comment below what shortcuts you like to use on Twitter or Social Media on your phone. Is there any way to create shortcuts on PC or Chromebook.
For the simple reason sometimes I want to search the timeline using Command + F and when I try it some shortcut will be activated and I'll be moved away from the timeline after having loaded many pages of it. Really, really annoying stuff!
The problem is for non-windows users I believe. Windows users use Ctrl + F and it works to open up the find interface. But when you're using a Command button with other systems, it seems that it is not registering the Command, just the f which "favorites" the message. Is that the issue you're having? Here is a list of the new keyboard shortcuts.
All you need to do is add the Checkmate shortcut to your device, then open Twitter, choose an account you want to check, and share it with the Checkmate shortcut. With a few seconds, it will show whether the verified badge of that account is legacy or from Twitter Blue. It can even show if an account was legitimately verified in the past and is now a Blue subscriber.
Twindesign/123RFThe Twitter app is getting an Android 7.0 update. The new version of the app will take advantage of a number of new Android features, including one that could be very helpful for the Twitter-addicted: app shortcuts.
App shortcuts in Android 7.0 essentially allow users to quickly access certain app functions straight from the Android home screen. It works very similarly to how 3D Touch works on the home screen of iOS, but instead of implementing some fancy new technology, you simply press and hold the app icon.
In Twitter you can press ? to get a Keyboard shortcuts popup. Take a few minutes and just try to learn four or five of them. I realize it's hard to hold all these in your head at once. These hotkeys have always been available since the first "New Twitter" but since "New New Twitter came out today, I though I share these little known features.
closest thing I see to a hint in the launch video is the rope at the lookout tower, to go from upper to lower bleak inlet. That would technically also be a shortcut to the cannery workshop I suppose.
I see what you mean. Yea I've looked all around that building too but have not seen anything that maybe a hidden shortcut. The only place on the upper level connected to the outside is the large broken window facing the water just after you climb in from the shipping containers. On the lower level the snowbanks under the floor lets you get up through the floor to about chest level, but no option to climb anywhere that I see.
I've spent the past few game days breaking down everything at the cannery, and couldn't find anything. That fuse box looking thing in the control room just after you climb the initial rope looks hella suspicious but there's no option to interact with it. I've checked all the equipment and haven't found any sort of "open door" or "tie rope" thing anywhere. Wondering if maybe it's some sort of remote control, I went back to the pensive lookout and echo one radio tower looking for maybe some kind of switch or secret key, broke down everything, and nada. Even inside the cannery workshop, although I did find a couple neat goodies by breaking things down, nothing opened any sort of shortcut.
Both during the aurora and otherwise, I might add, just in the event something becomes interactive while powered, but not during the day. I'm starting to think the "shortcut" is really just that rope climb down from the pensive lookout tower.
I'm pretty sure Raph has indicated the shortcut is to the Cannery Workshop, because it was in response to a tweet when someone talked about having to do all the beam-walking. If I recall correctly. I'll try to find the Twitter exchange, but it was in another post on these forums, by "Ross Bond Returns".
I felt sure that I had thought of the solution to the shortcut to the Cannery Workshop. My plan was to place a can of gunpowder next to the arcing electric cable beside the stepladder that is close to the milling machine. I expected that at the next aurora the explosion would blow a hole in the floor and the ladder would drop through the floor to the ice below.
I would be absolutely 100% certain there is no shortcut, if not for that one tweet. And even then I'm wondering if Raph maybe just saw the part about "drop down" and the "You can" meant "You can drop down". As in, just walk off the pier. That's your shortcut out.
I think we may be taking his quote and reading into a bit too far. I also am leaning towards no "secret shortcut" at the cannery itself. I mean, it takes maybe a minute to run the walkway. I can't imagine HL making a shortcut for a 1-minute trip.
Not many people realize this, but web apps can have keyboard shortcuts too, including Facebook and Twitter. Learning Twitter's keyboard shortcuts isn't hard: there's actually quick way you can learn them. Just press "?" and you'll see this pop-up:
If you're used to web-based keyboard shortcuts, a lot of this will seem intuitive, but if not here's a quick decoder for all of these cryptic-sounding functions. Don't worry: it's actually pretty straightforward!
Various keyboard shortcuts let you interact with whatever tweet is currently surrounded by the blue box. Hit "r" to reply to the currently highlighted tweet, "l" to like it, or "t" to retweet it. You can even quickly mute and block users with "u" and "b", respectively.
You might think the mouse is necessary to get from your timeline to your notifications, or any other section of the site. It's not! There are a bunch of shortcuts specifically for jumping from one page to the other.
And that's most of what you need to know. Again, you can see a complete list of keyboard shortcuts at any time by pressing "?" on your keyboard. Review this any time you forget a keyboard shortcut, and eventually you'll wonder why you ever bothered to use Twitter with your mouse. Enjoy!
For the past month I've been using John Lindquist's Script Kit to automate daily workflows. One of my favorite parts of Script Kit so far is being able to add metadata comments at the top of a file and the scripts automatically being affected. One in particular is adding a // Shortcut: comment which will bind a keyboard shortcut to trigger a script.
On the third line down, I am mapping option + u on my mac to run this script. By default on MacOS, the option key plus any alphanumeric key is mainly used for miscellaneous characters that aren't physically on a QWERTY keyboard. Due to this, I can easily override these without the issue of overriding keyboard shortcuts for other applications on my machine. Now whenever I need a UUID for some project I am working on, I can press opt + u and then paste it in whatever textbox I want to fill in, in a CMS, text editor, or other input form.
Having the ability to setup keyboard shortcuts for NodeJS scripts has been an extremely handy boost to my usage of my Mac. Further beyond, it can be enhanced further with tools like Karabiner Elements or Keyboard Maestro to make working on MacOS a very automated system whether I am in a programming aspect or just day to day general usage.
