Thefirst step to converting 6.42 to a fraction is to re-write 6.42 in the form p/q where p and q both are positive integers. To start with, 6.42 can be written as simply 6.42/1 to technically be written as a fraction.

Next, we will count the number of fractional digits after the decimal point in 6.42, which in this case is 2. I have heard that on one occasion the Blessed One, on a wandering tour among the Kosalans with a large community of monks, arrived at a Kosalan brahman village named Icchanangala. There he stayed in the Icchanangala forest grove.

So the brahman householders of Icchanangala, when the night was gone, taking many staple & non-staple foods, went to the gate house of the Icchanangala forest grove. On arrival they stood there making a loud racket, a great racket.

"Lord, those are the brahman householders of Icchanangala standing at the gate house to the Icchanangala forest grove, having brought many staple & non-staple foods for the sake of the Blessed One & the community of monks."

"Lord, let the Blessed One acquiesce [to their offerings] now! Let the One Well-gone acquiesce now! Now is the time for the Blessed One's acquiescence, lord! Now is the time for the Blessed One's acquiescence, lord! Wherever the Blessed One will go now, the brahmans of the towns & countryside will be so inclined. Just as when the rain-devas send rain in fat drops, the waters flow with the incline, in the same way, wherever the Blessed One will go now, the brahmans of the towns & countryside will be so inclined. Why is that? Because such is the Blessed One's virtue & discernment."

"Nagita, there is the case where I see a monk sitting in concentration in a village dwelling. The thought occurs to me, 'Soon a monastery attendant will disturb this venerable one in some way, or a novice will, and rouse him from his concentration.' And so I am not pleased with that monk's village-dwelling.

"But then there is the case where I see a monk sitting, nodding, in the wilderness. The thought occurs to me, 'Soon this venerable one will dispel his drowsiness & fatigue and attend to the wilderness-perception, [1] [his mind] unified.' And so I am pleased with that monk's wilderness-dwelling.

"Then there is the case where I see a wilderness monk sitting unconcentrated in the wilderness. The thought occurs to me, 'Soon this venerable one will center his unconcentrated mind, or protect his concentrated mind.' And so I am pleased with that monk's wilderness-dwelling.

"Then there is the case where I see a wilderness monk sitting in concentration in the wilderness. The thought occurs to me, 'Soon this venerable one will release his unreleased mind, or protect his released mind.' And so I am pleased with that monk's wilderness-dwelling. [2]

"Then there is the case where I see a village-dwelling monk who receives robes, alms food, shelter, & medicinal requisites for curing the sick. Receiving, as he likes, those gains, offerings, & fame, he neglects seclusion, he neglects isolated forest & wilderness dwellings. He makes his living by visiting villages, towns, & cities. And so I am not pleased with that monk's village-dwelling.

"Then there is the case where I see a wilderness monk who receives robes, alms food, shelter, & medicinal requisites for curing the sick. Fending off those gains, offerings, & fame, he doesn't neglect seclusion, doesn't neglect isolated forest & wilderness dwellings. And so I am pleased with that monk's wilderness-dwelling.

My Mom is slowly but steadily improving from her Tri- modality treatment for her dx'ed Stage 3A adeno case...all treatment ended early December 2012. Well...so far... according to her docs she is doing well with no visible signs of recurrence/metasis...she is due for her next CT on June 23rd. \n

She recently had blood/urine work performed and her TSH test result was a 6.42... Does this reading indicate any possible issue/possible warning of cancer related issue(s)? Apparently this test is used to test thyroid function... either a hyper or hypo state of the thyroid?\n

A TSH level of 6.42 suggests that your Mom may be hypothyroid. Usually, Free T4 is also measured to find if there is an adequate level of thyroid hormones circulating in one's system. If the Free T4 is low and 'out-of-range' then the diagnosis is Hypothyroidism.

As for using the TSH levels as indications for cancer activity, this is done as follow-up in persons who have previously been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. It is not used as a follow-up for lung cancer, rather it is part of an overall screen for a person's health likely done as part of an annual check-up done by a General Practitioner.

Resolved the problem that caused "403 Forbidden" error. For fixing the problem in all cases, all users are also required to update to 6.42.15 version of "IDM integration module" extension in their browsers

First thing to check is that it's not an issue with OpenGL support on your computer, i.e., that you can see the axes in the 3d view, and that the flying banner shows up in the ?/opengl_info/create context menu.

Next, try to reset the default settings using the options menu.

If the problem persists, please detail precisely the sequence of commands that leads to the app's crash.

Also, if the issue is linked to a specific project file, please share it and I'll have a look.

I followed your advice and checked the opengl conditions. It was necessary to dowload and install opengl from the net. After installation I checked it with opengl extension viewer. Extension 1.1 is working, the higher versions are not but it was enough to force XFLR5 v. 6.42 working. Thanks very much for your help. It put the end to my week time fighting with the computer.

Funny, you shouldn't have to download anything other than the drivers, because opengl comes by default with Windows. Making sure that the driver is up to date is the first thing. Old chipsets however may not support OpenGl 3.1 which is required by xflr5.

Then on a computer with a dual chipset, sometimes the app will run on a GPU but not on the other.
