Wuhan University and VP Institute are pleased to co-host the 16th Global TechMining Conference (GTM2026), May 20-22, 2026, in Wuhan, China. TechMining is text-oriented analytics that aims to generate practical intelligence from Science, Technology & Innovation (ST&I) information resources. Expanding and novel data bring both opportunities and challenges. Researchers, analysts, and decision makers need to track ST&I dynamics together with rapidly evolving economic & societal factors. GTM2026 aims to unite ST&I analysts, software specialists, researchers, and managers in advancing and adopting data-driven solutions for the future. Key Areas of GTM2026 interest include:

GTM2026 is pleased to accept full manuscripts for submission through January 9, 2026. The working language of the conference is ENGLISH. Accepted research papers will be invited to submit a manuscript to one of several special issues,
 including ScientometricsData and Information Management, and PublicationsPresenting authors will have the opportunity to compete for the best full research paper, research in progress, or poster. The awarded papers and posters will be announced during the closing remarks session.

Types of Submissions
  • Full Research Papers (limited to 12 pages) presenting methods, results, and implications.
  • Research-in-progress Papers (limited to 6 pages) showcasing preliminary methods and findings.
  • Posters (limited to 2 pages) showcasing work led by early career researchers or to present research ideas developed in the initial stages.
I addition, we will be accepting Special Session submissions. Special sessions focus on specific topics or ideas. All structures/formats, including panels, round tables, and pitch sessions followed by discussions, are encouraged.
