Join us in Antwerp for the 30th Annual Conference on Science and Technology Indicators. This anniversary edition invites contributions under the theme “Indicators for a Responsible Research Future”. STI-ENID 2026 is organized by ECOOM, the Flemish Centre for R&D Monitoring. The conference will examine how science and technology indicators can be developed and used to support diversity, inclusivity, openness, sustainability, and societal responsibility in research assessment and policy, particularly in a research landscape shaped by rapid technological change and geopolitical uncertainty.

Submissions are also welcome on a wide range of STI-related topics, such as research culture and careers, interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity, equity and inclusion, funding and innovation policy, peer review, open science, scholarly communication, research evaluation, societal impact, and theoretical foundations of research metrics.
Types of Contributions
We invite:
Quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods approaches are all welcome. Contributions from diverse epistemological perspectives are encouraged to support an inclusive and vibrant dialogue.
