Dearest gentle reader,
It is with great anticipation (and a particularly fine nibbed pen) that I draw your attention to the fast-approaching 29th Annual Science and Technology Indicators Conference, to be held in the majestic city of Bristol from the 3rd to the 5th of September, 2025 (www.stienid2025.org).
Do pass this on, as secrets like this weren’t meant to be kept!
Word has just reached this author that successful authors and presenters have been notified, with their scholarly works and insights ready to grace our programme. Yet, fear not, as this author quite rightly knows, the real insights are found by observers and absorbers of knowledge! I strongly recommend you secure your place post-haste before all the best seats – and all the best gossip – are gone!
Whispers are also fluttering through the academic salons and bibliometric boudoirs that the keynote speakers will be announced very shortly—and let me assure you, their names are ones to set pulses racing and citation counts soaring. The calibre? Positively dazzling.
Now, my most observant readers will know that registration is already open, and I do urge you to act swiftly. Spaces are known to vanish faster than research funding in a post-pandemic audit.
One can register here: https://www.stienid2025.org/registration-1
So dust off your best abstract, pack your critical eye and academic rigour, and secure your place at what promises to be the scholarly event of the season.
Yours in data and delightful speculation,
Lady Whistledown
(Who knew bibliometrics could be so utterly delicious?)
