ICSSI 2025 welcomes submissions on any topic related to the field of science of science and innovation, broadly defined. We seek abstracts from researchers across many disciplines, from academia, government, and the private sector. Submissions from early-career scholars and researchers from underrepresented groups are especially welcome.
Conference topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
About the Science of Science
Scientists today produce millions of research articles, preprints, grant proposals, and patents each year, leaving detailed fingerprints of the work we admire and how it came about. Access to this data catalyzes a new multidisciplinary field called the science of science. By studying the evolution of science quantitatively, this field has the potential to unlock enormous scientific, technological, and educational value.
Goals of the Conference
ICSSI aims to build a community of science of science researchers, experts from industry and government agencies, and policymakers who are committed to advancing research on science and innovation through computational methods. Our goal is to provide a multi-channel platform for attendees to hear and discuss the latest advances in the field and understand the needs of funding agencies, policymakers, publishers, academic administrators, and companies.
