Color xterm problems in the last few releases?

In the last couple of releases, there's been a constant bug when
dealing with color xterms.

Using Putty, everything is working perfectly, and I've not changed my
color setting on my linux box in YEARS. :)

Like when doing an LS, all the colors are good, and the columnar
output remains justified.

But on iSSH on the Ipad, the columns are no longer justified, and the
cursor on the command line is never at the "end" of the typed text;
it's somewhere in the middle, making editting very much impossible.

And God forbid I try to use VI with colormode set ON, it's impossible
to edit files.

Anyone else with this issue?

My appologies to the group... Once I figured out the Google Search, I
can see others reporting the same exact issues.

Anxious for a fix.

Unfortunately, I have also been dealing with this same issue. If I
only used iSSH for my personal servers, then I could temporarily just
work-around by disabling all colors from the server-side, but I also
use iSSH quite extensively for work, at which point it's not a
feasable solution.
