Double quote key not working in issh

OK, this seems like a weird bug, for some reason both the soft
keyboard and my bluetooth apple keyboard will not print a double quote
character in issh x window enviroment. I can get the double quote to
print fine in the terminal but for some reason only the single quote
will work in the x window. The shift key works because I can do
capital letters.
I am using issh on an original ipad if that helps.
Anybody know why it is this way?

I can confirm this issue. It's probably related to the keysym mapping
that I'll look into later this evening. When I get it corrected I'll
send you an adhoc install if you like.

Ok, not sure if my other reply saved so I am just going to cover my bases. Apologies if this shows up twice.
That would be great if you can send me an update with the double quote key working. I appreciate the fact that you are willing to be so responsive to user requests.
