Any plans to implement URL-support for us who use iSSH to irc?

iSSH already supports the ssh uri scheme. Are you referring to the
automatic detection and highlighting of URLs in IRC?

For the moment they'd be of very limited use. Apps can't run in the
background on the iPhone and tapping the URL would require opening
mobile safari. An embedded browser is planned though presently I'm
working to improve the UI and add NX support.

This is not a problem in irc-use.. as irssi or such itself stays open
at serverside and reconnection
takes only couple of seconds.
