VNC instant disconnect on connection

Hi,
Apologies if this is covered somewhere else on the forum, but I cannot
find it. I've just purchased the iSSH app for iPad, and can connect
successfully to my ssh servers. However, when I connect to a VNC
server, the connection is authorized, and the server screen appears,
but then iSSH reports "VNC Connection Failed", "Lost connection to the
VNC server. Using Chicken of the VNC, I can connect to this server
from my laptop.

Is this a configuration issue on the iPad side?

Hard to say with the information given. What VNC server is it? Does
the VNC server give any error details?
