Hi everyone,

I hope the riding has been good!  And if you haven't been out, the season to ride is coming fast!  Are you ready to reengage with the Issaquah Bicycle Club and get things going again?  If you are, ride into town next Wednesday, because we're having a get together.

Date:        Wednesday, Feb. 16th
Time:        7:00 PM
Location:   Pons Studio, 90 Front St. S., Issaquah (south across the parking lot from Front Street Market)

Francisco Pons of Pons Studio (http://ponsstudio.com/) has kindly offered his place for us to meet.  If you haven't seen what Francisco is doing for the cycling scene in Issaquah, this will be a great chance to come check in out.
As for the meeting, in addition to socializing, here's the plan.
  • Discuss how IBC can organize rides.  This isn't a complex topic, but there is a range of things we can do.  We'll put something in place at this meeting.
  • At our first meeting we discussed a project like sponsoring a Salmon Days ride.  The Salmon Days people say now is the time to make a proposal to do something this fall.  This would be a project that would require the participation of a group of people.  Are we that group?
  • The web site.  What do IBC members want from a web site?  We've got a new prototype up to look at. https://sites.google.com/site/issaquahbicycleclub  I'd love to get your input about what would make this site valuable to our riding community.
  • Update on the Issaquah Mountain Bike Task Force.
It's the interests of its members that will make IBC worthwhile.  So if you've got something else to discuss with the group, please come ready to speak up.

I hope you can make it.  Please RSVP so we can plan for seating.

See you soon!
