Subject: 2025 Field Day (final) results are published

The Issaquah ARC, along with SnoVARC, EFR-Fire Corps, NBAT ( North Bend ) and Issaquah CERTS 2025 Field Day results were publish by the ARRL  The QST article did not publish category 'E' ( Emergency power) and category 'F' (EOC) results, so it took some digging in the ARRLsite to find the full listings.

  The combined effort was submitted as W7BI, in the 5F category, with a score of 2042 points.

  The class '5' means we were allowed up to five transmitters on the air at any one time, which we did a few times.

  The category 'F' meant we were operating in a location designated as an Emergency Operating Center (EOC).  Valley Camp has that designation with the local forest service when used for fire fighting and Search and Rescue operations.  They sometimes also use the field for helicopter operations.

  

  The combined group placed 5th in the 5F category. 

There was a fair amount of competition in the 'F' category, with over 200 submissions between the various sized groups.  Our score managed to beat nearly all other 'F' stations, of any size,  in the CA, ID, OR, WA (generally western US) areas.  There were stations reporting up to the nine transmitter (9F) category.

  The closest local competition was the K7NWS ( Boeing ARC) with a reported score of 1644 points.
