Last weekend our power was out for over 24 hours. My large 'radio batteries' and a couple of 12 LED lights provided plenty of light, and a very small 12v powered inverter was plenty to power a fan in our gas fireplace,so we had lights and heat..almost all the comforts of home.
The EyeWarn repeater is 147.100 + with a tone of 123.
The 444.525 (UHF) repeater is also likely to see some activity. It might be a good idea to listen in , just to see what is going on in the evening. If you have a radio programmed with the CERTS list, they are [probably memories #12 and #16, but don't quote me.
If PW need help tomorrow night, I will be out and about town some place.
The low apartments adjacent to ( immediately East of) the fish hatchery flooded, during the flood several years ago ( pre-covid) . Pictures from the Newport Way bridge, circulating already this evening, do not look like there is space for much extra water, and we are expected to get a lot more. 'Fishing on Front Street' may be a 'thing', this week!
