As mentioned at a couple of meetings, a company called 'Ham and Hi-Fi' sent out flyers  looking to buy excess ham radio gear  and were planning a buying trip to the Seattle area.  They are from Nevada.
I replied, that I was potentially interested. After some phone conversations, I decided to see what might come of it.
They are scheduled to be at my house this coming Monday morning ( Jan 6).
I have no idea what sort of value they will offer, but I do not expect much.
I have decided it is an opportunity to divest myself of a collection of old receivers and potentially some transceivers.
I am turning 80, and  I came to the realization, some time ago, that my accumulation is never going to be used, takes up too much storage space, and collects too much dust.
If any of you want to bring some older ham or Hi-Fi gear, that you would potentially sell, not expecting much in return, this might be an opportunity to do so.
No guarantees, no refunds of your time spent, and no complaints.  I have very little idea what to expect.
If you just want to hang out here on Monday morning, and see what happens with the travelling show, that is also OK.
  Coffee may be available.
  RSVP!

Thanks Rod,

I would like to come.  What time do you expect them to be at your house so I don’t show up too early?

Thank you for your offer Rod but my accumulation of ham gear isn’t big enough yet! But, I seem to be expanding it rather than contracting it.
Heading to Tampa until Jan. 6. Let me know how it goes.

Bob, There is no set time, but a range of 9 to noon was mentioned.  I will know better later.  I spoke with the fellows today.  It tuns out they were not interested in most of my my older receivers, but will take several Heathkit items, if we agree on a price.
