My band rehearsal was just moved from 10/1 to 9/30.

Therefore, I can make it to IARC on the 1st, and I could talk about Atari.

Please advise,

PS. My band, the Afterparty, plays at 3pm Sunday afternoon on 10/5 during Salmon Days.

Dear all,

Thanks for the welcome! Apologies for the late reply (Senior year in high school has been draining); I'll be at the Oct 1st meeting with my HT. Rod, I'll definitely take you up on getting oriented with the HF antennas! Bob, I'm definitely interested in EmComm (it seems particularly relevant now post-bomb cyclone...).

Mihai and Joe, thank you for the generous offers! I won't take you up on them as of now since I'm still getting oriented on what I need!

Looking forward to seeing you soon,

Sophia S

Sophia –

What’s your call sign?

What HT do you have?

Is your HT programmed with all the local repeaters in this area? (Mihai or Bob Otis can help you with that)

Have you tried listening/participating in the Wednesday evening (7:00PM) Issaquah Communications Support Team or ICST, and the Issaquah Citizen Corps, or ICC net? (Basically a weekly check-in of local hams to keep us practicing our skills, it’s a great way to ease into talking on the air)
