  Things got pretty hectic at the beginning of the meeting last night, with cash and checks coming fast and furious.  It was good to see so many be so eager to hand me money.

  I tried to write receipts for everyone, and to help me keep the cash accounted for.

CALIFORNIA!!!  Yeeccht!  I was born in Spokane and lived my fist 9 years in Harrington, Lincoln County, in the middle of wheat country, before moving to Kent.  Kent-Meridian class of 1961, married an Everett gal.

Naw, I would only go to California on short trips and only if my shots were up-to-date.

We moved up here to be near our family in 2018 after we had retired from our jobs.  With the way things have deteriorated in California, I'm not currently interested in returning.  I realize that the Lord might have other plans and that will take precedence.  We like Washington and plan to stay here.  We really liked California and both of us were glad that we were born there, but, they aren't doing very well at being financially solvent.  That concerns me because our retirement plan is from there.
