interim Field Day report

First, the Grand View Park is nice, high ip, with commanding views.

 

Second, I tried working on the boat without success.

 

Third, I went back to the park to test my radios in person.

Success:

• 2M – 2-way
• 6M – 2-way
• 10M – 2-way
• 20M – listen to contest traffic, didn’t break in
• 40M – 2-way
• 80M - heard contest traffic, but did not break in.

I hear static on 15M.

I was just happy that my radios worked from that site.

 

Remaining: retest at home with my 24’ vertical flagpole antenna.
