I highly recommend the roll-up J-Poles. I have been using one for several years for the high speed car rally comms I do.
They handle the power of nearly all mobile radios and fit into a small zipper baggy, along with a reasonable length of coax. Add a small weighted string and it is easy to get the antenna 15 to 20 feet in the air, if there is a handy tree limb. I usually use a thin telescoping fiberglass mast, and hang the J-pole from the top end, at about 20 feet. It seems to work as well as most the many different base station antennas I have tried, and way faster to set up and take down,.

I mentioned at the meeting last week, that I will be placing the order this weekend, but another request has me holding off a few more days to sort out the details.
We currently have four antenna requested, and I will be submitting the order this week.
